- First, Therapy Dogs can be beneficial to classrooms and/or the whole school! Though it may take a little while for the students to adjust to the dogs, the dogs can relax and insert themselves into classrooms easily.
- Second, from what we’ve seen (as a group), with the Service Dogs like Theo and Mulligan, the class was very eager and happy with their presence. This means that (well-trained) Therapy Dogs can benefit the classroom by calming down students and affecting the mood around them.
- Overall, Therapy Dogs can bring a positive impact to the school with their presence and by doing their jobs.
